Ouzoud Falls is a popular destination for a day trip from Marrakech, located in the Atlas Mountains region of Morocco. The falls are a series of cascading waterfalls that flow into the El Abid River, and they are considered one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Morocco.

Day trip from Marrakech to Ouzoud Falls / waterfalls:

Ouzoud Falls is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend the day, and is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakech for a bit. Just be sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and insect repellent, as the area can get quite hot and buggy during the summer months.

The excursion to the Ouzoud waterfalls is a day trip from Marrakech where you will visit the most spectacular and beautiful waterfalls of Morocco that plunge from a height of 110 meters with an impressive flow, even in summer.
The Ouzoud Waterfalls are located in the middle of a clay landscape, surrounded by rivers and impressive gorges. They are inside the Megum Geo-park; which has many places of geo-touristic and archaeological interest, such as dinosaur footprints or cave engravings, among others.

At about 8 am, our driver will pick you up at your hotel or riad in Marrakech, and we will head east towards Ouzoud, in the province of Azilal.
During the journey, approximately three hours, we will discover picturesque traditional villages and Berber villages of the High Atlas, of spectacular rural beauty, where we will contemplate their way of life and their landscapes, you will believe for a moment, that you have traveled back in time.

Arriving in Ouzoud, you will enjoy about 4 hours in the waterfalls to enjoy nature, you will have free time to explore the area, enjoying the local flora and fauna.
Famous for its leafy trees, ecological diversity, dense vegetation and unique and varied seasonal birds.
The trail that runs through the waterfalls is divided in two, there is the possibility of walking a cemented path with railing and a more natural and wild, dirt path with the shade of ancient olive trees.
At the base of the waterfalls, several barges invented by the most ingenious locals will be waiting for you, if you feel like it, to take you as close as possible to the place where the water makes its fall.
