Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Upon arrival in Casablanca, meet your driver outside the airport for a seamless transfer to downtown Casablanca (Drive time: 45 minutes). Your adventure begins with a visit to the stunning Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco and the third largest mosque in the world open to non-Muslims. This marvel of modern Moroccan architecture can accommodate up to 105,000 worshippers and is the result of the dedicated work of hundreds of expert craftsmen from around the country, many of whom donated their labor.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat

Day 3: Rabat - Asilah - Tangier

Begin your day by visiting Rabat, Morocco’s current capital city. Start your exploration with a visit to the Hassan Tower, an unfinished minaret commissioned by Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur in 1199. Originally intended to be part of the largest mosque in the world, the tower stands half-finished at 140 feet instead of the intended 260 feet, accompanied by some partial outer walls and 348 columns.

Across from the Hassan Tower is the Mohammed V Mausoleum, housing the tombs of Mohammed V, the current king’s grandfather, as well as the king’s father, Hassan II, and his uncle, Prince Abdallah. This mausoleum is considered a masterpiece of Alaouite architecture, featuring white walls and a green tiled roof.

Next, travel north to the charming seaside town of Asilah. Known for its beautifully preserved Portuguese fortifications, Asilah boasts a whitewashed medina with striking blue trim. Stroll along the town’s ramparts, enjoy ocean views, and relax in one of its many cafes.

Day 4: Tangier - Tetouan - Chefchaouen

The forth day of our 20 days Complete Morocco Tour from Casablanca will start by pick uping you from your hotel/airport/ port and drive to Chefchaouen. First, we will go to Tetouan, popularly known as "The White Dove" due to the pigmentation of most of its buildings.
Once there, we will visit its main places of interest, such as the Moullay El Mehdi Square, the Spanish Ensanche, the Jewish Quarter or Hassan II Square, where the majestic Royal Palace is located...
Next, we will drive to the unmistakable and famous city of Chefchaouen. Once we arrive, we will be immersed in the intense blue of the houses and streets of its Medina, which you can walk around during your free time. Later, we will walk together from the main square of Chaouen to the Hammam where our accommodation is located.

Day 5: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes

Today, you’ll get beck on the road and head back to Fes. First, you’ll pass throught the charming town of Ouazzane (pronounced Wazzan), a small city in the north central Morocco, located in the southwestern edge of the “Rif mountains”. It was founded as a religious community in the year 1727, and till this day it is still considered as a holy place. Moreover, Ouazzane is known also for being a green city with it’s breathtaking nature and green painted walls.

Then, you’ll continue your journey south through the fertile lands towards the middle Atlas mountains. The next stop will be the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, located between the imperial cites of Fes and Meknes on a fertile plain sorrounded by wheat fields. Volubilis is one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in the country where the diversity of scenery, architecture, and culture at the site is sure to impress. The more you explore Volubilis the more you get a sense of its scale and completeness, it’s easy to imagine what life was like in the city’s heyday when you can see the extensive ruins of a capital building, thermal baths, a forum and a abundance of columns.

Next up is Meknes, the Moroccan Versailles which was founded at the end of the 17 th by moulay Ismail, where the Jewish presence is evidenced by Hebraic epitaphs dating from the Christian era as well as Greek inscriptions that still appear in local Synagogues and a place of pilgrimige where the tomb F Rabbi David Benmidan (the Patron of Meknes) is located.  Afterwards, you’ll continue to Fes where you’ll spend the night.

Day 6: Fes Sightseeing

Fes, this 13th-century imperial city, is a tapestry of multicultural history that promises to enchant its visitors with unexpected surprises. Within the medieval walls of the wonderfully chaotic medina, you’ll embark on a journey back in time. Wander through the labyrinth of thousands of alleys, immersing yourself in the largest car-free urban area in the world. Here, towers of spices, traditional handicrafts, and bustling hammams beckon to be explored.

Your adventure will take you to the world-famous tanneries of Fes, where you’ll discover hundreds of earthen pits filled with vibrant dyes, creating a mesmerizing patchwork of color. You’ll also explore the pottery quarter of Fes, home to Morocco’s most prized ceramics. Learn about the intricate processes that go into this ancient craft, and perhaps find a unique piece to take home as a memory.

After lunch, you’ll delve into the city’s renowned madrasas, or Islamic schools. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, an iconic religious building located in the heart of the medina. Day 7: Fes – Merzouga

Departing Fes, we travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing Ifrane, known for its Swiss-like architecture and snowfall. Near Azrou, in the cedar forests, you may encounter Barbary apes. Continue over the Tizi-n-Talghemt pass to the Ziz Valley, renowned for its palm groves and Ksars (fortified villages).

We will then pass through Errachidia and Erfoud, famous for its date festival and fossils. Our journey continues to Rissani and finally to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Here, you will ride camels to your luxury desert camp, where you can climb the dunes to watch a spectacular sunset. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by a night under the stars in a private tent with all comforts.

Day 8: Merzouga

Today, you have two options to explore the desert. You can either take a full-day camel trek, enjoying lunch prepared by your camel man amidst the dunes, or opt for a half-day 4x4 tour around the Erg Chebbi dunes. Visit Khamlia village to experience traditional Gnawa music and share tea with nomadic Berbers. Return to the camp for dinner and an evening of music around the campfire. Spend the night in your private tent.

Day 9: Merzouga – Ouzina Desert

After an unforgettable night in our berber camp, if you get up early enough, you will be able to admire the other charming postcard of our 20 days Complete Morocco Tour from Casablanca, the impressive image of the sunrise in the Sahara and the sunrise between the dunes.

After living this magical experience in the desert, we will get back on the back of our camels to return to the lodge.

We will continue our route around 10 am, we will make the panoramic tour of the dunes of Erg Chebbi and then continue to the village of Mifis where we will visit the mines of lime and barytes, until we reach the village of Khamlia, between Merzouga and Taouz. In the area it is known as "the village of the blacks".

A village where the inhabitants are called Gnawas, musicians of sub-Saharan origin, who will delight us with music and dances, while we savor a mint tea, where in addition to enjoying their Gnawa music, originally from Sub-Saharan Africa, we will have the opportunity to taste the famous Berber pizza.

For lunch, we will head to the village of Khamlia. Then we will continue to Taouz, where we will enter to begin our journey through the famous track of the old Dakar Rally, a journey in which we will enjoy breathtaking views where we will also have the opportunity to see some wonderful rock engravings. We will go to the village of Jdaid and in the afternoon we will arrive at the Ouzina desert.

Day 10: Ouzina – Dades Valley

After breakfast, our journey continues through the town of Rissani, once the thriving center of the ancient Sahara caravans. We'll traverse a semi-desert landscape until we reach the oasis of Tinghir, a truly stunning location in Morocco. Following the Todra River, we'll arrive at the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges, towering over 300 meters high. Take some time to explore the village and soak in the breathtaking scenery.

Day 12: Zagora and Draa Valley Day trip from Ouarzazate

This is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco, with some buildings dating back to the 17th century. From there, we drive through the stunning Ounila Valley, a route filled with twists and turns, vibrant rock and soil hues, Berber villages, gardens, and smaller Kasbahs.

After a guided tour, we'll begin our journey through the stunning Atlas landscapes.

Our route will lead us northward to the region of Taznakht, where you'll have leisure time to savor the delectable Berber cuisine. Following a delightful lunch, we'll continue our voyage to Taliouine, renowned as the saffron city, nestled in the province of Taroudant.

Day 14: Taroudant - Agadir

Beyond the beach, you can spend hours in its charming medina: it is worth exploring artisans, small shops, hidden corners and the occasional terrace where you can enjoy a relaxing mint tea.
