DAY 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Roses Valley – Dades Valley

DAY 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert

After breakfast, early in the morning, we will pass through the Valley of Dades, where we will continue our route through a road surrounded by small Berber villages and authentic and historical Kasbahs, all unique and different from each other.
After several photo stops, we will arrive at one of the highlights of the South: the Todra Gorge. The Todra River has formed a gorge with vertical walls of enormous proportions and great beauty; it is a climber’s paradise and a place of unique natural beauty. We will make a relaxing stop for lunch and continue our journey towards the most magical and desired point of our 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert of Merzouga Erg Chebbi: the impressive dunes of Merzouga.

Once we arrive at the lodge, we will have a hospitality tea while we get some rest. We will leave our luggage and things we will not be using in the desert at the lodge and set off in a camel caravan that will take us to the Desert camp in the middle of the dunes for about an hour. We will make stops along the way to watch the majestic sunset over the Sahara sand. It is here that the dunes take on a reddish colour due to the play of light and shadow of the sun’s rays on top of them, a magical spectacle that you won’t be able to stop photographing. Once at the camp, we will be welcomed with a hospitality tea and before dinner, we will have free time to stretch our legs and enjoy the relaxation and silence of the dunes.

Afterwards, we will have dinner as a group, under a blanket of stars, in the immense silence of the Sahara dunes. A dinner prepared with authentic Moroccan products. After dinner, under the stars, the Berber party, live music with Berber drums and songs, and if you dare, you can participate by playing the drums yourself. We will have the opportunity to climb the dunes near the camp to discover shooting stars, make wishes and, together with the Berbers, listen to traditional Berber tales. We will spend the night in the middle of the Sahara desert, in the camp (tents in the dunes).

DAY 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After a magical night in the desert, if you get up early enough, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the most spectacular sunrise of your life over the dunes. After a freshly cooked Berber breakfast, we will return early to the lodge on the back of our camels or at 4×4. We will then head to the Draa Valley, where we will pass through authentic Berber villages, where we will be able to contemplate the quiet and natural life of their indigenous population. We will cross the Zaghro to reach Ouarzazate, and finally we will head towards Marrakech crossing the High Atlas through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260m).
