Day 1 : Fes
Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
Possibility of a half day guided tour with a local official guide of Fez.
Accommodation in Riad in the medina of Fez with breakfast.
Day 2 : Fez - Azrou - Sources Oum er-Rbia- Lake of Ouiouane
Departure in the morning to Oum Er-rbia sources through the Middle Atlas, passing through beautiful villages overlooking the High Atlas, such as Azrou, and through lush cedar forests. Arrival at the Oum Rabia sources. Picnic at these beautiful springs that give life to the river and walk through the valley where we will contemplate the waterfalls. Then we continue to the lake of Ouiouane. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in middle of the atlas.
Day 3 : Lake Ouiouane - Atlas - Errachidia - Ziz Valley - Erfoud - Erg Chebbi desert.
In the morning, departure to the desert of Erg Chebbi. On the way we will enjoy spectacular scenery with views of the Atlas, the cedar forest, Berber villages and the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will pass through the Ziz Valley and Gorges and in the afternoon we will reach the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi where we will ride our camels for a pleasant ride of about one hour between the golden dunes of the desert watching the spectacular sunset, to the Berber camp located in the middle of the dunes, where we will spend an unforgettable evening with dinner under the stars and live Berber drum music show. We will sleep in a Berber tent until sunrise the next day. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 4 : Excursion in the desert of Merzouga
The second day in the desert is dedicated to enjoy the most spectacular part of the Eastern Sahara. We will go into the desert in the 4x4, visit nomad villages, see oasis and ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Following the route we will visit the famous village of Khamlia where the Gnawa, descendants of slaves from Africa, can be found and enjoy their amazing folk music. In the evening, we return to the hotel for the night.
Day 5 : Merzouga - Rissani - Ziz Valley - Middle Atlas - Fes
On the way back to Fez we will pass through Tafilalet, Rissani (origin of the Alaouite dynasty and former capital of the Alaouite sultans), Azrou and Ifrane. In the national park of Azrou we will stop at the monkey forest, where you will be able to observe the monkeys and even feed them. Arrival in Fes and transfer to your hotel and end of our service.
