Tour Overview: 4 Days from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga Sahara Desert
Explorar i descobrir el sud del Marroc amb aquests 4 dies de Marràqueix a Fes via Merzouga Sahara Desert. The first night of our three days and two nights Desert Tour will be in Ouarzazate; a famous town with its Kasbahs and cinema studios, the second night will be in the magical Sahara Desert in Ouzina & 3rd night in the molt chebbi dunes de Merzouga, en un campament berber. Seguint el nostre camí, descobrirem molts paisatges i pobles com la vall de Ziz, Muntanyes Atlas before ending our 4-day tour in Fes.
Itinerary: 4 Days from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga Sahara Desert
Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas - Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Valley of the Roses - Dades Valley
We start these 4 dies de Marràqueix a Fes via Merzouga Sahara Desert crossing the High Atlas Mountains, we will cross the pass of Tizi N'Tichka (it is the highest road pass in North Africa, with 2260 meters) we will have stops along the way of panoramic views for spectacular photos. Visit the argan oil cooperative, where we will discover the process of elaboration and explain the countless benefits it has for the human body. We will continue to the south by a 6 km track that will take us to the village of Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit the Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO). In this spectacular setting have been filmed films as renowned as Gladiator or the Jewel of the Nile. Lunch on the way and continue to the city of Ouarzazate, considered the gateway to the great desert, we will pass through the Palm Grove of Skoura and the Valley of the Roses, where we will continue our route to reach the Dades Gorges. Finally, we will head to our accommodation in Dades, where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Tafraoute (Sidi Ali) - Dakar Rally track - Ramlia Oasis - Ouzina Desert.
We have breakfast and go to the Todra Gorges, which we will visit, with its impressive vertical walls of more than 300m. Which are narrowing at every step. We then continue through the Anti Atlas Mountains until we reach the town of Alnif, then we go to Fezzou, a Berber village where we stop for lunch in a typical Berber restaurant, then we continue to Tafraoute (Sidi Ali), where we start our journey through the famous track of the old Dakar Rally, We will enjoy breathtaking views of the purest desert, until we reach the Ouzina Dunes and head to our typical Berber accommodation in the desert of Ouzina where our second day of our 4 Days from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga Sahara Desert ends. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3 : Ouzina - Visit of the surroundings and the Nomads of the Sahara - Track of the Dakar rally - Khamlia - Dromedary ride and night in the camp.
The best day of our 4 Days from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga Sahara Desert starts after breakfast, we will go to see the surroundings of Ouzina and the nomads of the Sahara. We will have lunch with a Berber family in the village of Ouzina, (Berber pizza). We will continue along the Dakar rally track to Taouz. We will continue to the village of Khamlia, where live the Gnawa, musicians of sub-Saharan origin, who will delight us with their music and dances, while we savor a delicious mint tea. We will arrive at the impressive dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) where we will have the opportunity to get on the quads or buggys to venture into a unique experience, climbing the dunes on quads. In the afternoon, we will go to the lodge to get on the back of our camels and head to the Berber camp in the middle of the dunes where we will see the sunset. Dinner with live Berber music show and accommodation in desert camp.
Day 4: Merzouga - Erfoud - Ziz Valley - Azrou - Ifrane - Fes
The last day begins with an unforgettable image, the sunrise in the desert. After sunrise, we will take the camels back to the hotel, where we will have breakfast and shower. On the way back to Fez we will pass through Tafilalt, Rissani (origin of the Alaouite dynasty and former capital of the Alaouite sultans), Azrou and Ifrane. In the national park of Azrou we will stop in the forest of monkeys, where you can observe them and even feed them. Arrival in Fez and transfer to your hotel and end of our service and end of our 4 Days from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga Sahara Desert.
